Drake is rumored to be working on the release of his sixth studio album, which could be released this summer.
We’ve been hearing about a possible new Drake album for months and it seems like those plans are finally being revealed to us.
After the release of Dark Lemo Demo Tapes, rumors began to emerge that Drake would be releasing a studio album in the summer of 2020. As we’ve officially gotten to that point, people began to wonder where the body of work was and when we would be blessed. . with that. Fortunately, it appears that some news about the piece has been leaked.
The launch could start this week after DJ Akademiks shared a message he had found about what’s to come. While he cannot vouch for the validity of the information presented, this would be a pretty great way for Drake to present Album # 6, therefore we hope it is real.
“Connect to one of YouTube’s divisions, SiriusXFM and Pandora are finalizing a deal with YouTube specifically for the release of Drake’s sixth studio album,” the filter said in a message shared by DJ Akademiks. He goes on to explain that, starting this week, Drake would perform a thirty-minute set from one of his previous albums before revealing information about the next set in a quick fifteen-minute direction that would follow directly.
With that schedule, things would start on July 2 and end in late August.
The full message can be seen below. Please note, however, that the validity of these rumors has not been confirmed by Drake or anyone on his team.
