American rapper Kanye West has appointed Nigerian-British designer Mowalola Ogunlesi as creative director of his collaborative Yeezy venture with clothing company Gap.
The billionaire rapper made the announcement on Twitter on Friday.
Mowalola Ogunlesi, 25, also visited his Instagram page to update the quote.
She wrote on Instagram, “Yeezy Gap Design Director”.
A graduate of Central Saint Martins, London was one of six designers chosen by British Vogue to dress the fashion doll, Barbie, in her signature style in honor of the doll’s 60th anniversary in September 2019.
Her designs have been worn by celebrities such as Kim Kadarshian, Drake, Skepta, and Solange Knowles.
