Samsung Galaxy S20 owners, your monthly security update is here, but this time you’ll get some additional features and improvements courtesy of the South Korean company. The update is available in a single country right now, but it’s safe to assume it will slowly expand to additional regions in the coming days.
First off, the update brings the long-awaited July 2020 security update, but the changelog also confirms that a couple of camera enhancements are also included. For example, the video stabilization and zoom functions have been enhanced for better performance and better results.
More importantly, a new option is added that allows Galaxy S20 owners to take advantage of Bluetooth microphones when they decide to record something with the voice recording app. But not only have additional things been included in the update.
Samsung has decided to remove support for MirrorLink, Car Mode, and Find My Car (via SamMobile). The update weighs around 400MB, slightly larger than the standard security updates Samsung delivers monthly. Also, please note that the update is only available in South Korea at the moment.
