Mike Tyson explains the motivations behind the comeback fight

Mike Tyson will fight Roy Jones Jr on September 12.
At this point, everyone knows that Mike Tyson is making his long-awaited return to the world of boxing. On September 12, Tyson will fight Roy Jones Jr in what is sure to be one of the biggest fights of the year. This particular match will take place on the popular social media application Triller and will feature a card featuring characters like Jake Paul and Nate Robinson. Overall, fans are extremely excited to see what Tyson can do, though much of the excitement is more morbid curiosity than anything else.

Yesterday, Tyson went to First Take where he spoke to Max Kellerman about his upcoming fight. Kellerman asked Tyson what it’s like to train for a fight at 54 years old, and also noted that Muhammad Ali fought at 47 and didn’t look as good. Tyson said he has been in better shape than Ali and that the fight will be a lot of fun.

“Just because we’re 54 doesn’t mean we have to start a new career and our life is completely over. Not when you feel as beautiful as I do,” she said.

Tyson has not been in the ring since 2005, although according to his recent training videos, there is no doubt in our minds that he still has a brutal blow.
