Jack Harlow reaches # 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “WHAT’S POPPIN” with DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne.
Jack Harlow doesn’t look like someone who makes a living from rap music. It’s still one of the game’s most unrecognizable faces, but that doesn’t translate to its ability to spit out loaded bars or create punches. While you may cross it on the street and not realize that you’ve just passed by one of the new talented hip-hop school’s most talented artists, it’s slowly making its way to global recognition. New Billboard Hot 100 ratings are helping you get there.
For months, Jack Harlow’s “WHAT’S POPPIN” has been booming in the United States. It is one of the most popular songs of the year and has been discovered by TikTokers in recent weeks. As you probably know, the social media platform (soon to be banned in the United States!) Generated enough of a stir for Harlow to consider putting together a super team for the remix.
Along with DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and legendary Lil Wayne, the official remix of “WHAT’S POPPIN” appeared so strong that it peaked at # 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 update. While it didn’t have enough gas to top the hit “ROCKSTAR” of DaBaby with Roddy Ricch, could well pass the song over the next few weeks to give Jack his first # 1 song.
The rapper reacted to his location on the chart.
“NUMBER 2 IN THE WORLD,” he wrote, overwhelmed by the news that he probably forgot that Billboard only counts statistics in the United States. “Damn it, I love you all … can we have one more?”
