6ix9ine recently shared a video of himself being treated for a wrist injury at the hospital.
He’s the king of trolling, so audiences won’t be surprised to learn that Tekashi 6ix9ine’s recent injury didn’t stem from any street fights. As the rapper enjoys strolling through New York City as he enjoys his newfound freedom from house arrest, critics have been anticipating the day he will get into trouble on the streets. So far, 6ix9ine has visited restaurants, gone to the mall, posed for pictures, and handed out cash to strangers. Other than members of his security team getting into a fight with a man who was filming rapper “Trollz,” 6ix9ine has had no problems.
However, on Tuesday (Aug 11), 6ix9ine shared a video showing that he had an injured arm. In the clip, the rapper was being treated like a hospital and in the caption of the post he wrote: “I got caught short on these streets.” Not everyone believed his story, and later TMZ reported that they spoke to 6ix9ine, who revealed the true story of how he got hurt.
According to 6ix9ine, he was inside his house, coming down the stairs at 3:00 a.m. to his kitchen when he accidentally bumped into him one-year-old French bulldog. As he tried to stop his fall, his hand caught on the railing and he injured himself. Initially, he thought that maybe he had hurt something, so he went to bed. The next morning, the pain had escalated, so his team decided to take him to the hospital, where an X-ray showed that 6ix9ine had broken a “bone in the back of his wrist.” His arm will reportedly be wrapped in a cast for three to five weeks.
